PREVENTATIVE CARE

Dental Exam

Dr. Kincaid and a dental hygienist will perform a thorough examination of your teeth, gums and mouth. Our goal is to help you maintain excellent oral health by identifying any concerns and treating them before they become serious.

TEETH CLEANING

A dental hygienist will remove plaque and tartar from your teeth gums. The hygienist will also polish your teeth to remove extrinsic tooth stains.

Scaling and

Root Planing

Also known as a deep cleaning, scaling and root planing is a treatment for periodontal disease. A dental hygienist will remove plaque and tarter from your  tooth and its root surface. In some instances, ARESTIN, an antibiotic, is placed in the gum tissue to help your gums heal.

Oral Cancer Screening

A dental hygienist and Dr. Kincaid are not only looking at your teeth and gums. They also monitor your entire oral cavity to aid in early detection of oral cancer.

Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Kincaid sees patients of all ages. As soon as your child has their first baby tooth, they should be seeing the dentist regularly to ensure proper development.

Dental Sealants

A sealant is a coating that protects a tooth from decay. It helps to seal off the areas of a tooth that are even too small to reach with a toothbrush.

Occlusal Guard

Occlusal Guards/ Night Guards protect your teeth and jaw from clenching and grinding. They can be used to treat mild to moderate TMJ disorder, prevent headaches, and protect your teeth from bruxism.

Fluoride Treatment

Research has shown that fluoride not only reduces cavities in children and adults, but it also helps repair the early stages of tooth decay, even before the decay is visible. Fluoride is the best cavity fighter to help keep the whole family's teeth strong, no matter their ages.

RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY

DENTAL FILLINGS

Fillings are used to restore teeth with cavities, cracks or chips.  We use a tooth colored filling material making it virtually undetectable!

DENTAL CROWNS

Dental crowns are used to address problems such as broken and cracked teeth or extensive tooth decay. A permanent covering in the form of a cap (dental crown) will be placed over the tooth. This procedure is also commonly used following a root canal to protect the exposed tooth.

DENTAL BridgeS

A dental bridge is a fixed appliance that is placed in the mouth when one or more teeth are missing. Usually the pontic, or false teeth, are anchored to the healthy, or abutment teeth, on either side of the gap.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

A dental implant replaces a missing tooth or multiple missing teeth. A titanium or ceramic post is placed underneath your gums and into your jaw bone (like a tooth root).  Once integrated, a crown is placed on the post. Dental implants are a great option for restoring missing teeth.

Tooth

Extractions

A tooth may need to be removed due to decay, infection or lack of space. If a tooth needs extracted, Dr. Kincaid will review your medical history and remove the tooth as painlessly and safely as possible.

REmovable Partial Dentures

A partial denture is a removable, yet natural-looking dental appliance that helps restore the form and function of your jaw by replacing one or several missing teeth.

Conventional Dentures

Dentures are custom-made replacements for missing teeth and can be taken out and put back into your mouth. If you’ve lost all of your natural teeth, whether from gum disease, tooth decay, or injury, replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health.

Implant OverDentures

Implant overdentures are indicated for patients who desire more stability than a traditional complete denture. Implants improve retention, function and speech. They can be removable or fixed

COSMETIC DENTISTRY

DENTAL BONDING

Dental bonding can be used to restore esthetics to a smile. Bonding is used to fix chipped, discolored, or irregularly shaped teeth. Bonding can also be used to fill in large gaps between teeth.

PORCELAIN VENEERS

Porcelain Veeners are a shell that cover your natural teeth. They can be used for numerous cosmetic corrections, from orthodontic adjustments to teeth whitening. Due to their lifelike and natural appearance, veneers are among the most popular and reputable cosmetic dentistry procedures.

INVISALIGN

Invisalign braces straighten teeth without using metal brackets. The plastic aligner fits over your teeth and is snug enough to stay in your mouth, yet easy to take in and out. The Invisalign aligner allows you to eat all foods because they won’t get stuck in metal braces. More importantly, you can easily brush and floss your teeth by temporarily removing the aligner.

TEETH WHITENING

In office ZOOM whitening and custom whitening trays are made for you in office. Restore the brightness back to your smile with as little as just one treatment!
